Art Talks with Lotus

  • The sky's the limit!

When I tell you that the sky’s the limit at Artworks I’m not kidding. We will literally frame anything and everything ... even cow pies in the shape of West Virginia!
  • A 1950s cross.

This is a modern cross, probably made around 1950. The center scene appears to be Jesus, Mary and Joseph. The other scenes may represent different episodes from the life of Christ although it is hard to tell because they are so figurative and loosely depicted.
  • Invitation to a wedding...

There are many wedding styles like garden and outdoor, rustic, seasonal, bohemian, beach and traditional.
  • Simplicity.

When you have a unique three dimensional wire portrait, you want your framing to reflect the simplicity of the piece.
  • When we think of our ancestors, what do we actually know to be a fact?

When we think of our ancestors, what do we actually know to be a fact? That statement may sound cynical but honestly - think about it. We’re using photos, stories told by relatives and friends, letters that were written, uniforms and documents as components to inspire our own story on our family history.
  • All the memories, win or lose, have to be savoured forever!!

When college basketball teams reach a stage as grand as the Final Four, every emotion is amplified: every basket more celebrated, every missed free throw more painful and every foul call more scrutinized.
  • It is special, the love between a mother and her daughter.

It is special, the love between a mother and her daughter, and is one that will never fade away, let alone die.
