Conservation picture framing makes sure that your art and objects are safe from whatever the environment can throw at it. This takes knowledge, skill, incredible attention to detail, and access to the proper materials. Did you know that there are over 40 shades of white mats?? (that's the color around the image) Yep- and countless specialty finishes in mats, from suede, linen and silk to burlap, leather, faux finishes and more. These and moulding choices are available only to framing companies. When someone tries to frame a picture themselves, they are stuck with using standard sizes, basic mat colors, and inferior materials.

At Artworks, we have over 100 collective years of experience in the framing and preserving business. We love to take on difficult and challenging pieces and create the perfect presentation of them for our clients. We've been doing this for 35 years, and we do all work in-house, whereas many places will send it to another company to do the actual work.
